What I do

Honest hand-washing, done right.

I keep it simple: a careful hand wash with boat-safe cleaners, inside and out. No polishing, no ceramic, no winterizing — just a clean boat and an owner who actually cares about your gelcoat.

Hand wash & dry

A gentle soap-and-rinse by hand, then chamois dry to lift pollen, dust, and spray spots — no harsh chemicals, no swirl marks.

Deck & nonskid scrub

Soft-brush scrub of the decks, cockpit, and nonskid to clear ground-in dirt and footprint grime without tearing up the surface.

Waterline cleanup

That brown scum line along the hull at the waterline? I scrub it back to white so she looks sharp sitting in the slip.

Glass & rails

Streak-free windshields and ports, plus a wipe-down of stainless rails, cleats, and hardware so everything shines.

Interior wipe-down

Seats, vinyl, and cupholders wiped clean, cockpit swept out, and any spider webs cleared — a fresh cabin to step into.

A helping hand

Need a hand loading gear, hosing off tubes, or prepping the boat for the weekend? If it involves boating, just ask — I'm local and happy to help.

Honest, per-foot pricing.

Every wash is priced by the length of your boat. No packages, no hidden fees — just a fair rate and a clean boat.

$6–$8 per foot

The exact rate depends on condition. A boat that's kept up lands around $6/ft; one that's been sitting dirty and needs extra scrubbing is closer to $8/ft.

About me

Hi, I'm Colin.

I'm a senior at the local high school in Charlevoix, and I started this little business to save up for business school. I also work at a local marina, so I'm down at the docks all the time and know my way around just about any boat. Cleaning them felt like the perfect way to spend a summer — out on the water, working with my hands, and helping out the boating families I've known my whole life.

So far I've washed over 30 boats around town — everything from little runabouts to big pontoons — and I treat each one like it's my own. I only use boat-safe cleaners that won't hurt your gelcoat or the lake, and I take my time to get it right.

When I'm not at a dock, you'll probably find me playing soccer, skiing the slopes up north in winter, or out boating with friends. I'm local, reliable, and happy to help with just about anything that involves boating — not just washing.
